3 January 2022 – The editorial committee of Port Acadie: An Interdisciplinary Review in Acadian Studies is pleased to announce the relaunch of our journal. Following a hiatus for restructuring, the following issues will soon appear:
- 33 (Fall 2020) – Québec’s Acadian Diaspora
- 34-35 (Spring-Fall 2021) – Francophone Media
- 36-37 (Spring-Fall 2022) – Women’s Archives in Acadian Studies
In keeping with its name, our journal seeks to be a harbour that welcomes a variety of perspectives in Acadian Studies, from all disciplines and in all their diversity.
We gladly invite submissions for our 38th issue, to be released in the spring of 2023. Port Acadie publishes peer-reviewed texts (in French or in English) – namely, scholarly articles and research notes – as well as essays (in French or in English), reviews of academic and literary works (in French), interviews (generally in French), and creative writing. Manuscripts for the Spring 2023 issue must be received by 15 July 2022.
